Bachelor 34, Roshan 20, Parum 13
We won Shaft back from Chelsea Arts Club in 2010, and this victory means the coveted trophy has been in our possession for five years now. Bach was equal top score with Extras!
This match was the Phené Philanderers' 300th victory (assuming we did not win any of the 3 games whose results are unknown). Our losses number exactly 300 too.

J McGahan 3-33, Thomas 2-26, A le Clercq 1-11

A comfortable win founded on an opening partnership of 105 by Roshan and Siva.

Roshan 4-11, Hirst 3-11, J McGahan 2-14
Roshan 43*, Burt 28*, Morrison 15

It didn't look too good for the Phené at 68 for 6, but then an unbroken stand of 69 by Burt and Roshan won the match.

11:30 Fri 10 July Colehill Occasionals Lost by 90 runs 126 216 for 7
J McGahan 3-31, M Kilpatrick 2-36, Roshan 1-48
Roshan 68, Anderson 17
Our biggest loss of the season was scant reward for missing lunch at the Milton Arms.
10:00 Sat 11 July * Plush Tournament Won the Plush Challenge Cup
This was the second time we had won the cup. The previous time was in 2010.
14:00 Sun 12 July Bride Vale Lost by 4 runs 167 for 7 171 for 8
A le Clercq 3-25, J McGahan 3-38, Siva 2-38
Roshan 96, David (BV) 16, Siva 12
This was a 30 over match. We came close, but our highest score of the season was not quite enough. The PPfLaB carried his bat for 1* at No. 9.
14:00 Sat 25 July Abinger Hammer Won by 9 wickets 190 for 1 189 for 7
J McGahan 2-15, Thomas 2-21, Roshan 1-13
Roshan 109 (retired), Bachelor 55*, Ham 18*
Abinger posted a decent score, but we chased it down with nine overs to spare and for the loss of only one wicket thanks to a partnership of 121 between Roshan and Bachelor in which Roshan scored his maiden century.
13:30 Sun 02 Aug Demijohns Lost by 2 wickets 183 for 9 184 for 8
H McGahan 62, Roshan 23, Sushil 23
Thomas 2-29, Sushil 1-16, Roshan 1-22

A loss, but much closer than last year.

14:00 Sun 31 Aug Pirbright Cancelled (rain)

For the second year running the folly of trying to play cricket on a Bank Holiday is plain for all to see. Maybe we'll finally play that 50th game next season...

13:30 Sun 06 Sep Forest Green Won by 40 runs 198 for 6 158
Bachelor 102*, Noakes 27, Lane 22
Noakes 4-27, Dean 2-23, Burt 1-28
Bachelor scored his first ton for the Phené to give us a large enough total to win this 9-a-side match quite comfortably.
13:30 Sun 13 Sep Ebernoe Lost by ca. 20 runs 116 & 50 120 & 67
It's all about numbers. We could muster only 6 players (55%) for our 14th fixture - very poor. Fortunately Ebernoe were very understanding and loaned us 2 players so that we could have an 8-a-side game. The match comprised 2 innings of 15 overs each, with the batting orders reversed in the 2nd innings. We failed to chase down 72 to win, falling short by about 20 runs. A muted end to the 2015 season - we can but hope for better in the 2016 season.
